Nothing fancy here - just the ground rules for using the site.
1. Using this site
By browsing VisTechie, you're agreeing to these terms. If something here doesn't sit right with you, the simplest option is to stop using the site.
2. Sharing our content
Link to whatever you like - that's how the internet is supposed to work. Copy-pasting whole articles somewhere else isn't okay, but quoting a short passage for commentary or review, with credit and a link back, is completely fine.
3. Who owns what
The writing, illustrations, and explanations are ours unless we say otherwise. The code samples are a different story: use them in your own projects, personal or commercial, without asking. Just don't republish the article text itself elsewhere.
4. Comments and stuff you submit
Post a comment and you're giving us permission to show it, edit it if needed, or remove it - our call. Spam, abuse, or anything clearly off-topic gets taken down without much discussion.
5. If you want us to build something
Consulting or development work outside of tutorials runs on its own signed agreement - scope, timeline, payment, all of it spelled out separately. Nothing on this site is an offer of services by itself.
6. Other people's links
We link out to docs, tools, and other sites throughout our tutorials. We can't vouch for what happens once you leave here - that's on them.
7. No guarantees
We test our code and try hard to get things right, but tech moves fast and things go out of date. The site is provided as-is, and we're not liable if something in a tutorial breaks your project or costs you time.
8. Access can be pulled
Repeated abuse, spam, or trying to mess with how the site runs gets your access cut off. We'd rather not do this, but we will if it comes to it.
9. Governing law
These terms follow the laws of the jurisdiction we operate in, regardless of where you're reading from.
10. Updates
We'll tweak these terms occasionally. If you're still using the site after a change goes live, that counts as accepting it.
